ORCA WATCH
Some years ago I contacted Peter Evans at Bangor University to see how we could work together during Orca Watch to develop the North Highland Way. I did not realise that the watchers spend hours in one place just watching, and had imagined that they would walk up and down the coast observing. How wrong I was. The way the team work together became clear in 2024 when I volunteered for Orca Watch. The organisation is phenomenal, and with different personalities, and different interests, apart from Orca Watch itself, it could be difficult. However, the organisers rise above all of that, and we look forward to a great event in 2025.
This web site will become the site for the daily news on the 2025 event, meanwhile, we have our main news service here. There is a very basic "Beginners Guide to Orca Watching"
We record in Northern Ireland and in Ireland.
