The story of the North Highland Way has been told many times. We reiterate it here now.
The challenge of the bridges was very well received in May 2025 and we will do it again in May 2026. Andrew MacKay of the Caithness Collection did an epic cycle ride. Jenna from the Biosphere partnership did the challenge of the bridges, and as for the developer, she just directed everyone else - nothing new there then!
We were asked by the Community Rail Partnership to provide them with some walks, so we have started putting them here. Some are in Spanish for the marketing we are doing with VisitScotland. The Spaniards love walking and getting out and about. Schedule of walks

Andrew MacKay of the Caithness Collection has supported the development of the Caithness and Sutherland Walking Festival, and now the North Highland Way, from day one. He bought the first beer mats. You can see them in the Pentland Hotel in Thurso. We delivered them on 26 June 2025. You can get them in our shop
